When it comes to price and running costs, the biggest differences usually appear. This is often where you see which car fits your budget better in the long run.

BYD Atto 2 is considerably cheaper – starting at 27,400 £ , while the MG MGS6 EV costs 42,800 £ . That’s a price difference of around 15,428 £.

In terms of energy consumption, the BYD Atto 2 is very slightly more efficient: consuming 15.8 kWh/100km compared to 16.6 kWh/100km for the MG MGS6 EV. That’s a difference of about 0.8 kWh/100km.

As for electric range, the MG MGS6 EV offers moderately more range – reaching up to 530 km, about 100 km more than the BYD Atto 2.

I've done 6,000 km and I'm delighted. I haven't tried other EVs, but I'm thrilled with the BYD Atto 2. It's true I don't go on long trips — I do everything in the city and nearby, about 100 to 150 km a day — and honestly it's been great in every way. When I hit 300,000 km I'll tell you again. Haha
