Very comfortable car but mechanical reliability is non-existent!
Major breakdown that left the vehicle immobile for 10 days (turbo failed). Repair cost was outrageously high: €8,301. Three weeks later I'm told the rocker arms and the camshaft need replacing! I'm waiting for the quote, which promises to be hefty. I should point out the car has always been serviced at the official dealer network according to Mercedes' recommendations. Avoid it! And not a single goodwill gesture from Mercedes. It was my third E‑Class but now I'm changing brands for good. NEVER EVER Mercedes again.

The interior is fairly spacious, despite several defects — bodywork and interior — and two consecutive breakdowns caused by the same air‑conditioning compressor problem. Very long waiting times for spare parts and for warranty repairs. In the end, I no longer have this vehicle because I was very disappointed.
