Looking at overall running costs, both models reveal some interesting differences in everyday economy.

smart #3 is very slightly cheaper – starting at 42,000 £ , while the Mercedes EQB costs 45,900 £ . That’s a price difference of around 3,878 £.

In terms of energy consumption, the Mercedes EQB is marginally more efficient: consuming 15.2 kWh/100km compared to 16.3 kWh/100km for the smart #3. That’s a difference of about 1.1 kWh/100km.

As for electric range, the Mercedes EQB offers moderately more range – reaching up to 535 km, about 80 km more than the smart #3.
