Price and efficiency are often the first things buyers look at. Here it becomes clear which model has the long-term edge – whether at the pump, the plug, or in purchase price.

Mercedes E-Class is somewhat cheaper – starting at 50,500 £ , while the Toyota Mirai costs 58,700 £ . That’s a price difference of around 8,215 £.

As for electric range, the Toyota Mirai offers substantially more range – reaching up to 650 km, about 534 km more than the Mercedes E-Class.
