Several tests have said that the quality on the outside and especially inside is on par with the German premium brands, if not even higher.
I can confirm that. Incredible for this price.
At 2.4t it's not a corner-carving car. Still, the driving performance is impressive. Compared with my Tiguan Biturbo 240PS, fuel/charging needs have been cut in half.
Consumption and range always depend on the driver. Whether electric or internal combustion. Anyone who drives an EV changes their thinking. Charge when possible, not always only when necessary. Many supermarkets, McDonald's, etc. already have charging options. While eating or shopping, plug in, done. The car is parked anyway. No extra time!
If I think just of the DSG start with that one-second hesitation... that doesn't exist with an EV.
You have to experience it. You don't need 500 hp for that.
I drive the BYD Sealion 7 'Excellence' and I'm mega satisfied

A much better vehicle than the 6. It beats it in practically every area. Faster, more room inside, better trunk, more comfortable

I'm disappointed; the exterior beauty wears off, the trunk is almost toy-like, the acceleration is weak, and the very basic sound system doesn't do justice to what you expected.

The Dolphin Surf is especially appealing because of the entry height and the low step-in. The amount of space is very good. It's a pity it has no towing capacity — around 500–600 kg would be great. The Dolphin Surf is better suited for older people than the R5.

For the current price (€36,000) the car is an absolute steal!
Unfortunately cars with different equipment levels are being compared here, which is absolutely not acceptable!
The Seal6 comes with every possible extra, for which on the Passat you'd easily have to pay an additional €12,000.

A smart estate, plenty of space for everyday use and extremely economical if you can charge at home now and then. The electronic assist systems are pretty annoying, but can be deactivated before setting off. It needs some software adjustments.
