PHEV model — very pleased with the car after 2.5 years. In the summer months it runs practically on electric power alone. The large 2.5‑litre engine is surprisingly frugal, about 0.5 l/mil. Downsides are the ventilation in winter, which causes fogged windows, and that we can now only charge the battery to 80%.

The Ford Tourneo Custom is a very pleasant people-carrier. The engine has plenty of punch when accelerating, both from a standstill and at speed. The multimedia system works fine. It's a pity the battery capacity isn't used intelligently. It's also a shame the car is limited to 157 km/h — disappointing that Ford's engineering seems of lesser quality so that this low limiter is necessary. The layout is practical and you can easily change the configuration and remove seats. The front seats are perfect; the other seats have a somewhat short cushion. I have the short version, which is just over 5 metres long. With this short model you can get around town easily. My average consumption is about 1:16.

Lovely car with sporty handling and fantastic seats.

600 km real-world range in summer; handles me — I'm just over 190 cm and 100 kg.

Better looking than the ID.4 and often available at a really good price.
