Practical car, zippy especially in the city, equipped with excellent technology, handles bumps and rough surfaces very well, super satisfied.

The car itself is very nice and very comfortable; I've been using it for a year and a half now and I've never had mechanical or engine problems. Fuel consumption is very good for the class, considering it's almost an SUV and, in my case, a petrol-only car. It uses little fuel if you keep a relaxed pace; when you push it it obviously starts to drink more, but if used properly the consumption is optimal. The only flaw of this car is the electronics (ECU, displays, device updates): the car quite often has problems with the instrument cluster and the central display, which is very annoying given that electronics are now fundamental in cars, especially for city driving or short trips. Other than that no problems — I use the car mainly for work, and after a year and a half and 47,000 km I can say it's recommendable if the electronics issue doesn't bother you.

It's a tough decision, but definitely the Avenger — more technology and better fuel economy.

The Jeep Avenger mild hybrid sports an attractive design. The engine and automatic gearbox are very smooth and capable. Driving is intuitive and pleasant with low urban fuel consumption and the ability to cover short low-speed stretches in electric-only mode despite being a mild hybrid.

Negatives: imperfect panel fit, software and graphical interface often unreliable and inconsistent, losing stored display settings. Narrow seat positioning and an interior with limited space relative to the car’s exterior dimensions. Condensation forming in the rear lights despite replacement under warranty.

Overall quality is modest and does not justify the price. Dashboard and door-panel plastics feel cheap and brittle. Overall quality is barely mediocre.

Jeep is no longer the reliable brand it once was, and the Avenger shows the effects of poor overall quality. Cute, but uncomfortable (narrow seats... you hurt your hand trying to buckle the seatbelt!)
