For me personally, compared directly with the ID4 "GTX", the Elroq is the slightly more mature and better-thought-out car for everyday use. It offers better ride comfort, software that runs a bit more smoothly for me, and by far the nicer design.

More options and more room for discounts and negotiation, just as comfortable, better than a Hyundai Ioniq 5 (which is not comfortable at all), a Toyota bZ4X (feels cramped and has little space), a Tesla Model Y Premium (a bit too high-tech for me but otherwise fine), a Jaecoo 5 (entry-level, comfort impeccable but no options and little tech), and an Omoda (less comfortable and very few options). This is all a personal opinion — we drove the cars mentioned above and the Skoda seems the best value for money with good comfort, a variety of options and reliable after-sales service close to us.

First electric buy, so glad we chose the Elroq. Everything is so intuitive, car very spacious comfortable and nicely appointed, everything just feels right. Turning circle of 9.3M is so useful for such a largish car. Only small gripe is it's has quite a bit of road noise at 100KPH plus, absolutely fine below .

EV built for 80 km/h roads; range is very disappointing if you use the highway daily. You won't find this in the specifications. Which means in hindsight it wasn't the right choice.
Comfort fine.
Car catches a lot of wind; a lot of wind noise/whistling.
It's a shame that you have to reset a number of functions every time you start; no automatic memory.

Great car with a dynamic 1.5 engine and a 7-speed automatic; a downside is the electronics, which often shut off—terrible when reversing!!! It could also have a bigger tank because it averages 7 liters and at most 700 km.

The Skoda Kodiac looks sleeker and is bigger. The Ford Explorer is a bit smaller and there was such a fuss made about it, but it’s disappointing in looks and even worse on the inside.
