Apart from a few minor imperfections (caused by the ever-more intrusive computerization of the cabin...), I'm starting to get a feel for this compact, 4.36 m long (same as the Audi A3, but with an extra 47 liters under the parcel shelf in the boot!). Its proportions are excellent: the most spacious inside while remaining compact outside, compared with a Seat Leon 4 or Audi A3. In Monte Carlo trim it is well equipped AND above all offers seats that are both comfortable and that hold you effectively in all situations (in the mountains too, my primary criterion). Finally decided not to deal with the clutch anymore (I long resisted automatics because of the vagaries of gearboxes) I now have the pleasure of changing gears with the paddles OR via the lever shifted to manual mode; what a treat 🙏 After trying the SUV experience with a very nice 150 hp Karoq but with a 6-speed manual, it’s the Scala with the same engine and the DSG7 gearbox that offers much better driving comfort. Less body roll, of course! And less interior volume, but this compact is enough for us after all.... And the Monte Carlo trim offers everything you need and then some.

love it, thoroughly thought through. Well made, and ..yes it's clever..in so many ways! Ride and handling balance excellent feels so 'normal' to drive, and loads of room

Ideal travel car for cruising with plenty of room and space

I drove the Cupra Tavascan and the Škoda Elroq, and after a test drive I ultimately chose the Škoda Elroq 85 Business Edition Advanced. I am very satisfied with the Škoda Elroq Business Edition Advanced. The car drives quietly and smoothly and feels nicely spacious. The controls are clear and the car has many useful features. All in all a pleasant and comfortable car that I enjoy driving. After a 7,200 km tour through Spain I'm still very satisfied with the Škoda.

A good all-round car for anyone who can cough up €45,000. Essentially the proverbial jack-of-all-trades!

Roomy nice ride well made reliable very good value

The Skoda Elroq is more maneuverable in the city, easier to park than a Tesla, it doesn’t suffer from curbs that sometimes touch the front, it handles steep, poorly made garage ramps without problems, uses traditional distance sensors that are very reliable, and it’s a European product.
