Price and efficiency are often the first things buyers look at. Here it becomes clear which model has the long-term edge – whether at the pump, the plug, or in purchase price.

Abarth 600 is somewhat cheaper – starting at 36,000 £ , while the Aiways U6 costs 41,300 £ . That’s a price difference of around 5,304 £.

In terms of energy consumption, the Aiways U6 is somewhat more efficient: consuming 15.9 kWh/100km compared to 17.5 kWh/100km for the Abarth 600. That’s a difference of about 1.6 kWh/100km.

As for electric range, the Aiways U6 offers moderately more range – reaching up to 405 km, about 61 km more than the Abarth 600.

Both the Alpine A290 and Abarth 600e are fun cars - the first EVs to be properly engaging to drive. Despite the list price being significantly higher (but still below the critical £40k!), the Abarth is MUCH cheaper to lease... which makes the choice something of a no brainer in terms of value for money.
