Price and efficiency are key factors when choosing a car – and this is often where the real differences emerge.

Mercedes GLE is somewhat cheaper – starting at 78,900 £ , while the Audi A8 costs 91,400 £ . That’s a price difference of around 12,459 £.

Fuel consumption also shows a difference: the Mercedes GLE uses 3.2 L/100km and is clearly more efficient than the Audi A8 with 4.6 L/100km. The difference is about 1.4 L/100km.

Mercedes is completely superior to Volvo, which feels plasticky and noisy with poor fit and finish, a poor tactile feel in the controls and a lack of buttons.
