Price and efficiency are often the first things buyers look at. Here it becomes clear which model has the long-term edge – whether at the pump, the plug, or in purchase price.

BMW X1 is moderately cheaper – starting at 38,700 £ , while the Polestar 2 costs 45,200 £ . That’s a price difference of around 6,505 £.

As for electric range, the Polestar 2 offers clearly more range – reaching up to 659 km, about 578 km more than the BMW X1.

Engine and Performance:
