Looking at overall running costs, both models reveal some interesting differences in everyday economy.

Genesis G70 is considerably cheaper – starting at 38,600 £ , while the Lucid Air costs 72,900 £ . That’s a price difference of around 34,303 £.

Engine and Performance:

Power, torque and acceleration are the classic benchmarks for car enthusiasts – and here, some clear differences start to show.

When it comes to engine power, the Lucid Air offers significantly more power – delivering 1,251 HP compared to 245 HP. That’s roughly 1,006 HP more horsepower.

When accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h, the Lucid Air is significantly quicker – completing the sprint in 2 s, while the Genesis G70 takes 6.1 s. That’s about 4.1 s quicker.

The review contains an error: the price of the Lucid Air being evaluated corresponds to a version that accelerates from 0–100 km/h in around 4.7 seconds, which is slower than the MG Cyberster. The sub-2-second acceleration figures refer to the Lucid Air Sapphire, which is the most expensive version with a much higher price.
