Looking at overall running costs, both models reveal some interesting differences in everyday economy.

Tesla Model Y is significantly cheaper – starting at 34,300 £ , while the Lucid Air costs 72,900 £ . That’s a price difference of around 38,580 £.

In terms of energy consumption, the Lucid Air is very slightly more efficient: consuming 13 kWh/100km compared to 13.1 kWh/100km for the Tesla Model Y. That’s a difference of about 0.1 kWh/100km.

As for electric range, the Lucid Air offers markedly more range – reaching up to 882 km, about 260 km more than the Tesla Model Y.
