Looking at overall running costs, both models reveal some interesting differences in everyday economy.

Mercedes GLA is considerably cheaper – starting at 38,800 £ , while the Jaguar I-Pace costs 79,200 £ . That’s a price difference of around 40,364 £.

As for electric range, the Jaguar I-Pace offers clearly more range – reaching up to 469 km, about 395 km more than the Mercedes GLA.

Under the bonnet, it becomes clear which model is tuned for sportiness and which one takes the lead when you hit the accelerator.

The Ipace is a tragedy. Looks nice..but the quality is very low. After 30000km I changed the charger, I changed the heater..aprox 8000 euro cost. Not recomend in any eay. Avoid it!
