Price and efficiency are key factors when choosing a car – and this is often where the real differences emerge.

VinFast VF 8 is slightly cheaper – starting at 41,600 £ , while the Lexus ES costs 46,600 £ . That’s a price difference of around 5,023 £.

Engine and Performance:

Under the bonnet, it becomes clear which model is tuned for sportiness and which one takes the lead when you hit the accelerator.

When it comes to engine power, the VinFast VF 8 offers considerably more power – delivering 408 HP compared to 218 HP. That’s roughly 190 HP more horsepower.

When accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h, the VinFast VF 8 is clearly quicker – completing the sprint in 5.5 s, while the Lexus ES takes 8.9 s. That’s about 3.4 s quicker.
