Looking at overall running costs, both models reveal some interesting differences in everyday economy.

Mercedes E-Class is substantially cheaper – starting at 50,500 £ , while the Cadillac Lyriq costs 71,100 £ . That’s a price difference of around 20,652 £.

As for electric range, the Cadillac Lyriq offers substantially more range – reaching up to 530 km, about 414 km more than the Mercedes E-Class.
