Looking at overall running costs, both models reveal some interesting differences in everyday economy.

Aiways U6 is markedly cheaper – starting at 41,300 £ , while the Mercedes EQE costs 57,600 £ . That’s a price difference of around 16,293 £.

In terms of energy consumption, the Mercedes EQE is very slightly more efficient: consuming 15.8 kWh/100km compared to 15.9 kWh/100km for the Aiways U6. That’s a difference of about 0.1 kWh/100km.

As for electric range, the Mercedes EQE offers considerably more range – reaching up to 691 km, about 286 km more than the Aiways U6.

Luxurious and comfortable — though headroom is a touch tight if you’re over 1.92 m.
As a business user I do miss a coat hook.
In winter months the range drops to under 480 km.
