Costs and Efficiency:

Looking at overall running costs, both models reveal some interesting differences in everyday economy.

Voyah Free is noticeably cheaper – starting at 51,400 £ , while the BYD Tang costs 64,300 £ . That’s a price difference of around 12,865 £.

In terms of energy consumption, the Voyah Free is somewhat more efficient: consuming 20.2 kWh/100km compared to 24 kWh/100km for the BYD Tang. That’s a difference of about 3.8 kWh/100km.

As for electric range, the BYD Tang offers barely more range – reaching up to 530 km, about 30 km more than the Voyah Free.

The car is technologically state-of-the-art: luxury seats that ventilate, heat and even massage for driver and passenger, a large boot and strong visual impact. It delivers assisted parking with camera support, adaptive cruise with steering stabilizer, voice controls and the ability to connect to countless apps like YouTube. The passenger can enjoy the onboard TV, which with a simple digital touch can be moved to the center of the cabin. It offers a 500 km range and a petrol engine. Two electric motors produce 500 hp and sprint from 0–100 km/h in 4.4 seconds. There are many other features too: pedestrian detection, drowsiness recognition, a panoramic roof, a stereo sound system with subwoofer—nothing is missing, not even a refrigerated glovebox with active air conditioning for drinks or snacks.
