Price and efficiency are often the first things buyers look at. Here it becomes clear which model has the long-term edge – whether at the pump, the plug, or in purchase price.

XPeng P7 is significantly cheaper – starting at 42,500 £ , while the Hongqi H9 costs 60,000 £ . That’s a price difference of around 17,481 £.

Engine and Performance:

Power, torque and acceleration are the classic benchmarks for car enthusiasts – and here, some clear differences start to show.

When it comes to engine power, the XPeng P7 offers clearly more power – delivering 473 HP compared to 245 HP. That’s roughly 228 HP more horsepower.

When accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h, the XPeng P7 is clearly quicker – completing the sprint in 4.1 s, while the Hongqi H9 takes 7.8 s. That’s about 3.7 s quicker.

xpeng p7i is overall more practical - it's just not available with 1000 hp - but in the Performance variant 470+ hp are enough, and many gimmicks are better implemented on the P7i
