4.2 (18 Reviews)
Feedback tends to portray the Yaris Cross as an economical, city‑oriented small SUV that many owners find easy to live with for urban and family use. Typical positives often cited are notable fuel efficiency, compact packaging and an agreeable transmission, while common negatives include limited boot space, relatively thin sound insulation and underwhelming long‑range headlights, with some owners wanting more accessory options. Most comments come from city and commuter drivers, so these strengths and trade‑offs are shaped by urban use and could look different for buyers prioritizing long‑distance performance or large cargo capacity.

It's a shame the 12V battery lets you down and you always have to carry a jumper. Fairly noisy, otherwise a good car.

I want to choose the Yaris Cross because it’s cheaper per month than the ID3 and because of the high step-in of the Yaris — we’re in our late 70s.

It would be desirable to improve its sound/noise insulation, increase the trunk capacity, add more power for the high beams, and offer more accessories.

After several cars from the VW Group and a long search, I chose the Yaris Cross — also because of the unusual gearbox.
