Looking at overall running costs, both models reveal some interesting differences in everyday economy.

Aiways U5 is considerably cheaper – starting at 33,900 £ , while the Polestar 5 costs 101,700 £ . That’s a price difference of around 67,742 £.

In terms of energy consumption, the Aiways U5 is only slightly more efficient: consuming 16.6 kWh/100km compared to 17.6 kWh/100km for the Polestar 5. That’s a difference of about 1 kWh/100km.

As for electric range, the Polestar 5 offers visibly more range – reaching up to 670 km, about 260 km more than the Aiways U5.

Top car — 3.5 YEARS and 95,000 km and I haven't regretted it! Also, it only cost €33,000 in 2022 with the subsidy, and the ID.4 was totally bare‑bones.
