Costs and Efficiency:

Looking at overall running costs, both models reveal some interesting differences in everyday economy.

Audi Q8 is only slightly cheaper – starting at 77,300 £ , while the Mercedes GLE costs 78,900 £ . That’s a price difference of around 1,598 £.

Fuel consumption also shows a difference: the Mercedes GLE uses 3.2 L/100km and is markedly more efficient than the Audi Q8 with 3.9 L/100km. The difference is about 0.7 L/100km.

As for electric range, the Mercedes GLE offers markedly more range – reaching up to 104 km, about 24 km more than the Audi Q8.

Mercedes is completely superior to Volvo, which feels plasticky and noisy with poor fit and finish, a poor tactile feel in the controls and a lack of buttons.
