Price and efficiency are key factors when choosing a car – and this is often where the real differences emerge.

BMW 1 Series is considerably cheaper – starting at 29,400 £ , while the Peugeot 508 costs 44,600 £ . That’s a price difference of around 15,214 £.

Fuel consumption also shows a difference: the Peugeot 508 uses 1.6 L/100km and is substantially more efficient than the BMW 1 Series with 4.3 L/100km. The difference is about 2.7 L/100km.

I've had the 225 Hybrid GT for two years. Super car if you have, say, solar panels on the roof and charge from a socket — with a 10–15 km commute you drive on electricity for next to nothing. On the motorway at 140 km/h it uses about 6.0–6.3 l/100 km, superb comfort and quietness — and that stylish look!!!
