Looking at overall running costs, both models reveal some interesting differences in everyday economy.

Power, torque and acceleration are the classic benchmarks for car enthusiasts – and here, some clear differences start to show.

When it comes to engine power, the BMW i7 has a distinct edge – offering 659 HP compared to 473 HP. That’s roughly 186 HP more horsepower.

In acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h, the BMW i7 is somewhat quicker – completing the sprint in 3.70 s, while the XPeng P7 takes 4.10 s. That’s about 0.40 s faster.

In terms of top speed, the BMW i7 performs slightly better – reaching 250 km/h, while the XPeng P7 tops out at 200 km/h. The difference is around 50 km/h.

There’s also a difference in torque: BMW i7 pulls clearly perceptible stronger with 1100 Nm compared to 757 Nm. That’s about 343 Nm difference.

Space and Everyday Use:

Whether family car or daily driver – which one offers more room, flexibility and comfort?

Both vehicles offer seating for 5 people.

In curb weight, XPeng P7 is distinct lighter – 2020 kg compared to 2595 kg. The difference is around 575 kg.

In terms of boot space, the BMW i7 offers somewhat more room – 500 L compared to 440 L. That’s a difference of about 60 L.

When it comes to payload, BMW i7 slightly takes the win – 535 kg compared to 430 kg. That’s a difference of about 105 kg.

Overall, the BMW i7 shows itself to be edges out slightly and secures the title of DriveDuel Champion.
