Looking at overall running costs, both models reveal some interesting differences in everyday economy.

BYD Atto 2 is clearly cheaper – starting at 30,800 £ , while the BMW X1 costs 38,700 £ . That’s a price difference of around 7,809 £.

As for electric range, the BYD Atto 2 offers considerably more range – reaching up to 430 km, about 349 km more than the BMW X1.

Power, torque and acceleration are the classic benchmarks for car enthusiasts – and here, some clear differences start to show.
