Price and efficiency are often the first things buyers look at. Here it becomes clear which model has the long-term edge – whether at the pump, the plug, or in purchase price.

XPeng P7 is visibly cheaper – starting at 42,500 £ , while the DS Automobiles DS 9 costs 55,100 £ . That’s a price difference of around 12,566 £.

As for electric range, the XPeng P7 offers substantially more range – reaching up to 576 km, about 501 km more than the DS Automobiles DS 9.

Engine and Performance:

Power, torque and acceleration are the classic benchmarks for car enthusiasts – and here, some clear differences start to show.

xpeng p7i is overall more practical - it's just not available with 1000 hp - but in the Performance variant 470+ hp are enough, and many gimmicks are better implemented on the P7i
