Looking at overall running costs, both models reveal some interesting differences in everyday economy.

Honda HR-V is substantially cheaper – starting at 29,100 £ , while the Polestar 2 costs 45,200 £ . That’s a price difference of around 16,105 £.

When it comes to engine power, the Polestar 2 offers significantly more power – delivering 476 HP compared to 131 HP. That’s roughly 345 HP more horsepower.

Very nice car with plenty of interior space. Reliable engineering and, thank goodness, most functions are still operated with switches or knobs. It sits superbly on the road, although the standard Michelin Primacy 4 tyres produce a somewhat loud rolling noise. As a day-registered car in Elegance trim for €26,980 with zero kilometres, a real bargain. Honda and Toyota are absolutely equal in build quality and reliability. You can buy it without hesitation.
