Looking at overall running costs, both models reveal some interesting differences in everyday economy.

Kia XCeed is substantially cheaper – starting at 23,100 £ , while the Mercedes GLE costs 78,900 £ . That’s a price difference of around 55,778 £.

Fuel consumption also shows a difference: the Mercedes GLE uses 3.2 L/100km and is significantly more efficient than the Kia XCeed with 6.3 L/100km. The difference is about 3.1 L/100km.

Mercedes is completely superior to Volvo, which feels plasticky and noisy with poor fit and finish, a poor tactile feel in the controls and a lack of buttons.
