Costs and Efficiency:

Looking at overall running costs, both models reveal some interesting differences in everyday economy.

Lynk & Co 02 is considerably cheaper – starting at 30,900 £ , while the Volvo EC40 costs 46,500 £ . That’s a price difference of around 15,682 £.

In terms of energy consumption, the Volvo EC40 is barely more efficient: consuming 16.2 kWh/100km compared to 17.1 kWh/100km for the Lynk & Co 02. That’s a difference of about 0.9 kWh/100km.

It's a very well-finished and aesthetically attractive car, very high-performing, but one in which the suspension doesn't match the performance delivered by its engine. In the Core version it has fairly restrained fuel consumption.
