Looking at overall running costs, both models reveal some interesting differences in everyday economy.

VW Taigo is clearly cheaper – starting at 19,900 £ , while the Mazda CX-60 costs 43,700 £ . That’s a price difference of around 23,751 £.

Fuel consumption also shows a difference: the Mazda CX-60 uses 3.8 L/100km and is noticeably more efficient than the VW Taigo with 5.3 L/100km. The difference is about 1.5 L/100km.

The car is simply fantastic. The torque is unbelievable. Acceleration is mesmerizing for an SUV. The interior has a premium feel. The only thing that would make it better is a longer EV range. Otherwise, perfect.
