Looking at overall running costs, both models reveal some interesting differences in everyday economy.

VW ID.7 is only slightly cheaper – starting at 46,400 £ , while the Mercedes E Class costs 50,500 £ . That’s a price difference of around 4,115 £.

As for electric range, the VW ID.7 offers clearly more range – reaching up to 708 km, about 592 km more than the Mercedes E Class.

Range is completely wrong compared to what’s shown. In reality you can only rely on about 60% of the distance. The boot only opens for whoever has the key? That’s a massive headache for my work.
