Looking at overall running costs, both models reveal some interesting differences in everyday economy.

NIO EL6 is substantially cheaper – starting at 45,900 £ , while the Mercedes G-Class costs 106,600 £ . That’s a price difference of around 60,733 £.

In terms of energy consumption, the NIO EL6 is markedly more efficient: consuming 20.4 kWh/100km compared to 28 kWh/100km for the Mercedes G-Class. That’s a difference of about 7.6 kWh/100km.

As for electric range, the NIO EL6 offers very slightly more range – reaching up to 529 km, about 50 km more than the Mercedes G-Class.
