Price and efficiency are key factors when choosing a car – and this is often where the real differences emerge.

VinFast VF 8 is significantly cheaper – starting at 41,600 £ , while the Mercedes GLE costs 78,900 £ . That’s a price difference of around 37,350 £.

As for electric range, the VinFast VF 8 offers considerably more range – reaching up to 471 km, about 367 km more than the Mercedes GLE.

Engine and Performance:

Power, torque and acceleration are the classic benchmarks for car enthusiasts – and here, some clear differences start to show.

When it comes to engine power, the Mercedes GLE offers noticeably more power – delivering 585 HP compared to 408 HP. That’s roughly 177 HP more horsepower.

Mercedes is completely superior to Volvo, which feels plasticky and noisy with poor fit and finish, a poor tactile feel in the controls and a lack of buttons.
