Looking at overall running costs, both models reveal some interesting differences in everyday economy.

VinFast VF 8 is moderately cheaper – starting at 41,600 £ , while the NIO EL6 costs 45,900 £ . That’s a price difference of around 4,295 £.

In terms of energy consumption, the NIO EL6 is barely more efficient: consuming 20.4 kWh/100km compared to 21.9 kWh/100km for the VinFast VF 8. That’s a difference of about 1.5 kWh/100km.

As for electric range, the NIO EL6 offers a bit more range – reaching up to 529 km, about 58 km more than the VinFast VF 8.
