I drive an Outback every day; I had an X‑Trail as a courtesy car while mine was in for service. First impression after a few kilometres of driving — the suspension is a disaster. I've almost had it a year and it's truly powerful on the road, very stable — the driver aids make me feel super safe. In the city it moves around very well and the fuel economy is notable. I use it both on highways and in town and it's genuinely useful.
