Price and efficiency are often the first things buyers look at. Here it becomes clear which model has the long-term edge – whether at the pump, the plug, or in purchase price.

SERES 3 is very slightly cheaper – starting at 32,900 £ , while the Abarth 600 costs 36,000 £ . That’s a price difference of around 3,077 £.

In terms of energy consumption, the Abarth 600 is only slightly more efficient: consuming 17.5 kWh/100km compared to 18 kWh/100km for the SERES 3. That’s a difference of about 0.5 kWh/100km.

As for electric range, the Abarth 600 offers somewhat more range – reaching up to 344 km, about 43 km more than the SERES 3.

Both the Alpine A290 and Abarth 600e are fun cars - the first EVs to be properly engaging to drive. Despite the list price being significantly higher (but still below the critical £40k!), the Abarth is MUCH cheaper to lease... which makes the choice something of a no brainer in terms of value for money.
