Price and efficiency are often the first things buyers look at. Here it becomes clear which model has the long-term edge – whether at the pump, the plug, or in purchase price.

VW ID.7 is clearly cheaper – starting at 46,400 £ , while the Toyota Mirai costs 58,700 £ . That’s a price difference of around 12,330 £.

As for electric range, the VW ID.7 offers very slightly more range – reaching up to 708 km, about 58 km more than the Toyota Mirai.

Range is completely wrong compared to what’s shown. In reality you can only rely on about 60% of the distance. The boot only opens for whoever has the key? That’s a massive headache for my work.
