Price and efficiency are key factors when choosing a car – and this is often where the real differences emerge.

Abarth 600 is slightly cheaper – starting at 36,000 £ , while the VinFast VF 8 costs 41,600 £ . That’s a price difference of around 5,571 £.

In terms of energy consumption, the Abarth 600 is noticeably more efficient: consuming 17.5 kWh/100km compared to 21.9 kWh/100km for the VinFast VF 8. That’s a difference of about 4.4 kWh/100km.

As for electric range, the VinFast VF 8 offers markedly more range – reaching up to 471 km, about 127 km more than the Abarth 600.

Both the Alpine A290 and Abarth 600e are fun cars - the first EVs to be properly engaging to drive. Despite the list price being significantly higher (but still below the critical £40k!), the Abarth is MUCH cheaper to lease... which makes the choice something of a no brainer in terms of value for money.
