When it comes to price and running costs, the biggest differences usually appear. This is often where you see which car fits your budget better in the long run.

Volvo V60 is clearly cheaper – starting at 51,400 £ , while the Cadillac Lyriq costs 71,100 £ . That’s a price difference of around 19,722 £.

As for electric range, the Cadillac Lyriq offers substantially more range – reaching up to 530 km, about 431 km more than the Volvo V60.

I drive a V60 T6 TE e‑AWD Inscription MY 2022

Overall I'm very satisfied with it.

Positives +
+ Safety
+ Performance
+ Fuel consumption
+ Service and running costs
+ Driving feel (still has a bit of the Swedish tank about it)
+ Average consumption 5.2 l/100 km

Negatives -
- 180 km/h limiter, supposedly due to excessive centrifugal forces on the electric motor
- Thinner side windows than the predecessor
- Still very firm suspension
- 8‑speed automatic (feels like the car is always shifting)
- Volvo's own customer service has massively deteriorated in recent years (their new motto seems to be "take it or leave it")

As a long‑time Volvo customer, this will be my last Volvo — I'm not willing to go along with the (now purely electric and largely China‑produced) madness.
