Looking at overall running costs, both models reveal some interesting differences in everyday economy.

VW Golf is clearly cheaper – starting at 28,300 £ , while the Porsche Boxster costs 136,000 £ . That’s a price difference of around 107,747 £.

Fuel consumption also shows a difference: the VW Golf uses 1.1 L/100km and is considerably more efficient than the Porsche Boxster with 12.7 L/100km. The difference is about 11.6 L/100km.
