Price and efficiency are often the first things buyers look at. Here it becomes clear which model has the long-term edge – whether at the pump, the plug, or in purchase price.

MG MGS6 EV is only slightly cheaper – starting at 42,800 £ , while the VW ID.7 costs 46,400 £ . That’s a price difference of around 3,527 £.

In terms of energy consumption, the VW ID.7 is clearly more efficient: consuming 13.6 kWh/100km compared to 16.6 kWh/100km for the MG MGS6 EV. That’s a difference of about 3 kWh/100km.

As for electric range, the VW ID.7 offers noticeably more range – reaching up to 708 km, about 178 km more than the MG MGS6 EV.

The Smart attracts with its power and charging. I ended up choosing the ID7, though. The decision was influenced by it being European and by my three years' experience with the ID4. The ID4 has been an excellent vehicle.

Range is completely wrong compared to what’s shown. In reality you can only rely on about 60% of the distance. The boot only opens for whoever has the key? That’s a massive headache for my work.

It is a super comfortable car with a charging from 10-80% in less than 20 minutes. This car is also a very economic car as it is fully electric.
