Looking at overall running costs, both models reveal some interesting differences in everyday economy.

VW Passat is considerably cheaper – starting at 36,500 £ , while the Maserati Quattroporte costs 147,500 £ . That’s a price difference of around 111,024 £.

That's just a Passat. Too expensive in my opinion, but it's up to each person to decide whether to throw their money into VW's maw. The car itself is somehow a legend.
