When it comes to price and running costs, the biggest differences usually appear. This is often where you see which car fits your budget better in the long run.

Abarth 600 is visibly cheaper – starting at 36,000 £ , while the Peugeot 508 costs 44,600 £ . That’s a price difference of around 8,580 £.

As for electric range, the Abarth 600 offers considerably more range – reaching up to 344 km, about 289 km more than the Peugeot 508.

Both the Alpine A290 and Abarth 600e are fun cars - the first EVs to be properly engaging to drive. Despite the list price being significantly higher (but still below the critical £40k!), the Abarth is MUCH cheaper to lease... which makes the choice something of a no brainer in terms of value for money.

I've had the 225 Hybrid GT for two years. Super car if you have, say, solar panels on the roof and charge from a socket — with a 10–15 km commute you drive on electricity for next to nothing. On the motorway at 140 km/h it uses about 6.0–6.3 l/100 km, superb comfort and quietness — and that stylish look!!!
