Looking at overall running costs, both models reveal some interesting differences in everyday economy.

Polestar 2 is a bit cheaper – starting at 42,000 £ , while the BMW i4 costs 49,400 £ . That’s a price difference of around 7,380 £.

In terms of energy consumption, the BMW i4 is only slightly more efficient: consuming 14.7 kWh/100km compared to 14.8 kWh/100km for the Polestar 2. That’s a difference of about 0.1 kWh/100km.

As for electric range, the Polestar 2 offers very slightly more range – reaching up to 659 km, about 46 km more than the BMW i4.
