Price and efficiency are often the first things buyers look at. Here it becomes clear which model has the long-term edge – whether at the pump, the plug, or in purchase price.

VW Passat is considerably cheaper – starting at 36,500 £ , while the BMW X7 costs 91,300 £ . That’s a price difference of around 54,823 £.

Fuel consumption also shows a difference: the VW Passat uses 1.2 L/100km and is considerably more efficient than the BMW X7 with 8 L/100km. The difference is about 6.8 L/100km.

That's just a Passat. Too expensive in my opinion, but it's up to each person to decide whether to throw their money into VW's maw. The car itself is somehow a legend.
