Price and efficiency are key factors when choosing a car – and this is often where the real differences emerge.

Peugeot 308 is marginally cheaper – starting at 29,200 £ , while the BYD Atto 2 costs 30,800 £ . That’s a price difference of around 1,611 £.

In terms of energy consumption, the Peugeot 308 is barely more efficient: consuming 15.6 kWh/100km compared to 15.8 kWh/100km for the BYD Atto 2. That’s a difference of about 0.2 kWh/100km.

I've done 6,000 km and I'm delighted. I haven't tried other EVs, but I'm thrilled with the BYD Atto 2. It's true I don't go on long trips — I do everything in the city and nearby, about 100 to 150 km a day — and honestly it's been great in every way. When I hit 300,000 km I'll tell you again. Haha
