Costs and Efficiency:

When it comes to price and running costs, the biggest differences usually appear. This is often where you see which car fits your budget better in the long run.

Isuzu D-Max is marginally cheaper – starting at 35,900 £ , while the VW Touran costs 36,000 £ . That’s a price difference of around 90 £.

Fuel consumption also shows a difference: the VW Touran uses 5.2 L/100km and is significantly more efficient than the Isuzu D-Max with 8.6 L/100km. The difference is about 3.4 L/100km.

Excellent truck, the Isuzu D-Max 3.0... less blah, blah, blah and more economy, better engine and robustness, and more comfort when driving

The whole "Toyotized" marketing thing is another story; it's a good vehicle, but it's given more fame than it deserves — very bouncy, unstable, I almost rolled one of them

I've had a Hilux 3.0, then a Mazda BT-50 2.2, but now an Isuzu D-Max 3.0... marketing won't fool me — body quality has dropped, electrical systems have many problems, and Toyotas have become more disposable in my view and according to five workshops I consulted... nothing like the Toyotas from 2015

It really is the Swiss Army knife. Six people on holiday at a summer cottage including all their luggage. Or how about four people in the car plus a dishwasher standing in as baggage. Or five people, two of them in child seats plus two strollers in the back. And it's also super comfortable on long trips. You sit well and it has a nice interior. Today there's nothing comparable that can replace it. Oh, and it actually does the 16–17 km/l it's rated for.
