When it comes to price and running costs, the biggest differences usually appear. This is often where you see which car fits your budget better in the long run.

Jeep Compass is visibly cheaper – starting at 34,200 £ , while the VW ID.7 costs 46,400 £ . That’s a price difference of around 12,175 £.

In terms of energy consumption, the VW ID.7 is markedly more efficient: consuming 13.6 kWh/100km compared to 17.5 kWh/100km for the Jeep Compass. That’s a difference of about 3.9 kWh/100km.

As for electric range, the VW ID.7 offers noticeably more range – reaching up to 708 km, about 208 km more than the Jeep Compass.

The Smart attracts with its power and charging. I ended up choosing the ID7, though. The decision was influenced by it being European and by my three years' experience with the ID4. The ID4 has been an excellent vehicle.

Range is completely wrong compared to what’s shown. In reality you can only rely on about 60% of the distance. The boot only opens for whoever has the key? That’s a massive headache for my work.

It is a super comfortable car with a charging from 10-80% in less than 20 minutes. This car is also a very economic car as it is fully electric.
