Looking at overall running costs, both models reveal some interesting differences in everyday economy.

Maxus Deliver 3 is clearly cheaper – starting at 33,600 £ , while the Mercedes GLS costs 92,700 £ . That’s a price difference of around 59,013 £.

Engine and Performance:

Under the bonnet, it becomes clear which model is tuned for sportiness and which one takes the lead when you hit the accelerator.

When it comes to engine power, the Mercedes GLS offers significantly more power – delivering 404 HP compared to 160 HP. That’s roughly 244 HP more horsepower.

1) I trust the electric technology of the MAXUS more than the hybrid mechanics of the PEUGEOT.
2) If you compare the electric version of the Peugeot with the MAXUS, the Maxus clearly wins. It weighs 400 kg less than the PEUGEOT — which translates to carrying over 900 kg more — and it wears less, even down to the brake pads, than the Peugeot.
I'm thinking of buying a used MAXUS (the short one). I saw this week that there are loads of them four years old with under 30,000 km for €14,000, and they still have three or four years of manufacturer warranty left.
