Looking at overall running costs, both models reveal some interesting differences in everyday economy.

BYD Atto 2 is clearly cheaper – starting at 27,400 £ , while the Maxus Deliver 5 costs 39,800 £ . That’s a price difference of around 12,349 £.

In terms of energy consumption, the BYD Atto 2 is visibly more efficient: consuming 15.8 kWh/100km compared to 21 kWh/100km for the Maxus Deliver 5. That’s a difference of about 5.2 kWh/100km.

As for electric range, the BYD Atto 2 offers clearly more range – reaching up to 430 km, about 95 km more than the Maxus Deliver 5.

I've done 6,000 km and I'm delighted. I haven't tried other EVs, but I'm thrilled with the BYD Atto 2. It's true I don't go on long trips — I do everything in the city and nearby, about 100 to 150 km a day — and honestly it's been great in every way. When I hit 300,000 km I'll tell you again. Haha
